From Babies with Love - You're a Star Natural Soy Votive Candle
Beautifully embossed with our star print and the message 'You're a Star', our Star candles are made from recycled glass. Vegan candles, they're made with natural soy wax and natural essential oils that fill your home with a light fragrance.
Vegan, only natural plant waxes used. Soy wax is a vegetable wax made from the oil of soybeans. After they are harvested, the beans are cleaned, cracked, de-hulled, and rolled into flakes. The oil is then extracted from the flakes and hydrogenated. The hydrogenation process converts some of the fatty acids in the oil from unsaturated to saturated. The left-over bean husks are used as animal feed.
As with all natural wax candles, soy wax can pull away from glass containers (it's known as wet spots in the candle industry) and there may be some surface frosting. These variations in appearance are perfectly normal and have no impact on how the candle will burn
