Mamas & Papas has identified a potential quality issue with some Armadillo Flip and Armadillo Flip XT strollers, when used in the parent-facing recline position. Consumers who purchased an Armadillo Flip and Armadillo Flip XT stroller should send their stroller to a facility in the US to be repaired.
The quality issue: a loose catch on some Armadillo Flip and Armadillo Flip XT strollers may cause the seat to slip backwards slightly when the baby is parent-facing and being pushed over rough terrain. The issue does NOT arise when using the stroller with a car seat or bassinet or when baby is facing forward, away from the person pushing the stroller. We have received no reports of any child being injured and believe that there is no immediate danger to a child in any position.
Mamas & Papas believes that this quality issue may arise only with a small percentage of Armadillo Flip and Armadillo Flip XT strollers. However, in an abundance of caution, we want to remedy any potential problem by voluntarily recalling all subject strollers for a proactive fix.
The voluntary recall applies to strollers with the following Lot Codes (found on the tag on the strollers):
Armadillo Flip: Lot 00814 to 00416
Armadillo Flip XT: Lot 01214 to 00416
Please DO NOT USE the stroller in the parent-facing position until after it is repaired. Until then, the strollers should be used ONLY when the seat is in a forward-facing position.
If you have an Armadillo Flip or Armadillo Flip XT, here is what to do next:
Take your stroller, in a box, to your nearest UPS drop off location or contact UPS to arrange a pick-up.
Please ensure you remove the seat unit and wheels of the stroller and only send the chassis frame to prevent any transit damage.
Please attach a label to your stroller and the box with your name and address.

The Fixery will repair your stroller with the necessary technical adjustment. The stroller will then be returned back to the collection address and depending on your location in the US we aim to return your stroller within 2 weeks after receipt subject to normal transit times.
